Action Bar - ZAMKNIĘTE

Real shame Action bar has closed. I first visited the bar in the late 90s when Budapest was a very different place. Back then the bar was packed with super hot Eastern European guys who were definitely up for action. I visited many times since and always found d the bar had a very homo-erotic feel and lots of history of underground Budapest. Shame it's gone.

A few of the other reviews made me hesitant to stop by. Turns out it's just a typical Euro bar. It was pretty busy and friendly on Friday after midnight - this bar advertises a live sex show for 1am but it didn't happen by the time I left. Average age of patron was around 40 with some tourists and ex-pats in the mix. I didn't see any obvious prostitutes other than perhaps the two naked house boys mingling who were probably the performers. Dark room in the back and like most bars in Europe it would be foolish to keep any valuables in your pocket if you enter. Very reasonable $3 entry fee and $4 drink minimum.
